So I wasn't going to put in a tile backsplash, if I did it wouldn't be for some time. Last night I started poking around and found some really interesting tiles and of course I saw a bunch of things I love!! I was really impressed with the tiles over at heathceramics.com, below are more drool worthy tiles from them to pick from.
I love Heath Ceramics tile, too, and live very close to their beautiful Sausalito factory and showroom. One thing to keep in mind, though, is they have a vey annoying 25 square foot minimum for tile orders, which makes buying Heath tiles for a smaller square footage project like a backsplash impossible. They try to help you get around this by offering you items from their seconds (and thirds) stock, but I've never found colors I liked or enough of a pattern to make it work. Bummer.

I think the colors I'm looking into is gray, gray blue. or a light beige. Trying to match the colors in the flooring.
