Before and after

I mentioned in an earlier post that I snatched a flower pot pendant lamp off Craigslist. Well, I finally convinced my husband to put it up. It looks really good, it brings the whole room together. My husband gutted the old light and replaced the old cord with a white cord set from Ikea.

  1. I just have to comment and say that I love your blog and I think your house is SOOOOO cute. Or cool. Or a combination of those words. Its too bad no house in AZ is old enough to have any sort of charm to it, or my house could look as great as yours.

(I found your blog from your etsy site. I'm on etsy too at vintageprints.etsy.com)

  3. The lamp looks great, and I'm so happy to know that the IKEA fixtures work with them. I've seen those shades sans-hardware several times and passed them up because I was worried about finding something that would fit the hole right.

  5. You have a beautiful home. Your artistic abilty comes thru in putting together a well decorated home. I really like the dining room walls in contrast to the furniture.

  6. Absolutely gorgeous ... I've just recently found your blog and I a devouring it like cotton candy! Thanks for all of the terrific inspiration. (And I agree with the other posts - your home is beautiful. I particularly love your use of color... with the unexpected punches of apple green on the chair and through the doorway on the walls in your kitchen. Unexpected perfection!)

  7. Jenn - I love how you've decorated. We have similar tastes. I have a dark dining table also with that exact runner (and blue walls w/ splashes of chartreuse green about).
I LOVE your work and your blog (I read it daily). Thanks for the daily fix of inspiration!
