Photoshopped tile and grout |
Once the tile went up my decision to use black grout came into question. Just wasn't feeling the brown yarn I stuck in. Then I cut out some sticky strips of white felt and popped them in and white just looked too, well white. There is some gray swirls in the marble floor, I might just go gray… hmmm. Going to keep tiling and think about it. It always takes me a few days to get used to things.

I think it depends on how much you want the backsplash to "scream" (for lack of a better word). The dark grout makes it blend in more and the white grout really makes the shapes of the tiles pop. I think either one would work, it just depends on the affect you are hoping to achieve. :)
Work is busy this week, but I'm going to keep tiling and looking for the perfect grout shade. Shooting for something neutral. My only concern with neutral is it won't photograph well :/
Holy crap, that tiling is AMAZING AND must have been a pain in the booty to cut if it wasn't pre done, WOW! looks great :) peace. I like how the dark connects the cabinets. a lighter gray may be too blah?
