Cabana Bay - Bathroom Details

New images from the Cabana Bay Resort — and a surprise...
I'm sure you may have heard about this place already, but if you haven't, here are some more images.
Cabana Bay Beach Resort is Universal Orlando Resort’s fourth on-site hotel with striking color schemes and nifty, nostalgic details throughout the décor. The new, 1800-room hotel features moderately priced family suites available this spring at the special preview price and value-priced guest rooms available in summer of 2014 along with a wealth of recreation. When complete, guests can experience a 10-lane bowling alley and enjoy two massive pools with sand beaches, a lazy river, waterslide and more.
I suddenly need a vacation and this is where I want to spend it. Aren't those pictures amazing?! One of the best features by far is... MY ARTWORK ABOVE THE BEDS! WHAAAAT?!?!
Yes, you read that right! Back in 2012 I was contacted and asked to make a piece for these hotel rooms. I was given a palette of fabric, carpet and wall color samples to base my design on and I’m really happy with the result. I didn't really have much information about the hotel at the time, but now that I know it’s being used for the most amazing place ever, I'm pretty darn excited. I can’t wait to go!
So who’s coming with me?

Cabana Bay - New retro styled hotel in the works
I just love the look of this place, the image above almost looks like a vintage postcard. I will so be staying there in the future! Can you imagine how fun the rooms will be!
So currently it's still being built and won't be opening until next year. The new hotel will be operated by Loews Hotels & Resorts and feature both moderate and value-level accommodations in the forms of family suites and standard rooms. Artwork released by Universal Orlando shows a glimpse at what the Cabana Bay Beach Resort will look like, featuring a sleek ’50s style across its lobby, pool, and rooms. Across multiple buildings, Cabana Bay beach resort will include a total of 1,800 rooms: 900 family suites, capable of sleeping six, that include kitchen areas and 900 standard guest rooms
Omg, check out this room sketch below! I later found an example of what the room will actually look like, how cool!
