OK, so my computer is working, but I think the cooling fan died. Right now I have it on a cool flat surface and I don't hear any weird gurgling noises. A few nights ago the noises got so loud that I freaked out and turned off the computer. I really thought that it was the hard drive dying, but it seems to be working... What's going to be a pain is sending this laptop out to Apple to get it fixed... :(

That's a bummer! I feel your pain. It's almost worth getting a new one when it gets to sending it to Appla and waiting for your baby to return. I hope it works out.
