Center piece idea ~DIY~

I've had this idea of doing stick center pieces for a long time so I went outside today and collected a variety of dead twigs and weeds. Then I walked over to my local craft store and bought tons of pearls and white floral spray paint. I'm not sure if I will even go with this idea but I think it looks pretty so far...

Oh my this is just precious! I thought at first you had simply yanked the flowers off of a "silk" floral arrangement and sprayed it-which i suppose would work too-but the fact that this is a real dried plant makes it even better!
Thanks for sharing!

Ooooh. This is very pretty, Jenn, what a great idea. A tip that I learned from my mother-in-law: To make dried plants last even longer - spray them with hairspray, like old-fashioned AquaNet (which you can still get). Worth a try?

Greetings from Indiana!

Below is a link to Martha Stewart's version of stick centerpieces. We made these for my sister's wedding reception last year. We spray painted the branches white to match her color scheme.
