Fifth Annual Printing Arts Fair

I had so much fun yesterday at the Printing Arts Fair! I met some amazing artists and I learned more about the world of letterpress. I was upstairs in the sellers area most of the time, but the few times I managed to go down to the main hall, I was amazed at how many people were there. The kids had their own little art area to keep them busy, and there were printing demos and other activities. The place was packed with people interested in these ancient presses, fluttering around, printing father's day cards and old-looking newspaper pages and such. An old printing method is getting new life with modern artists.

On another note, I thought it was so cute when children were drawn to my ABC prints! they just seemed to float to my table. I know that parents love them but it's nice to see the children's faces glow as they pointed to each animal.

I want to thank Angela Liguori for letting me know about this fair. I had so much fun, thanks!
