An onion in the ointment

I've been hard at work in the front. I've removed all the old bushes and now I've been evening out the soil. I had some great plans, but a well cap is getting in the way. Why, oh why did they have to put it there?! :(. If we work around it, it skews the angle and looks a bit weird, but we are still going to try it.

*Check out the new flickr group I made! It's called modern landscaping

*Update: My husband and I finally came up with a design we like. I hope it turns out awesome!

Oh you should totally make it some sort of painted fun thing. Like a gnome's little house or a small mound that a thing could site on such as a little bunny statue.

Or you could make a little wood box to fit over it and put something on the box such as a plant or a chair, bench...

I think you could put a really cool old lawn art piece there. Some sort of shabby, metal sculpture, mod of course.

I wanted to make a sculpture out of cement. I would love a metal sculpture but I don't know where to get something like that.

It looks like you did an incredible job to me!

You could have paved around the well cap and cut it to the correct height and included it into the paving by using a textured finish on the top.
