Pots with a Personal Touch

Martha Stewart had some really great examples of hypertufa pots in her March issue. Hypertufa is a mix of perlite, Portland cement and peat moss. It looks like cement but is much lighter. Click here to watch her how to video.

my mom has hypertufas in the summer - when she first got one of their puppies (a cocker spaniel) he liked to lay down on it, with little sprigs of plant in his fur. it was really cute.

Ooooooo, I love these! Especially the rectangular and squarish ones. She made a hypertufa trough once on the original show (oh how I miss the old format) and they were a bit more rustic than these. These are quite a bit smoother with cleaner lines, which I prefer.
