What I would have wanted.

When I think about bedding for my bedroom this design is what I would have wanted. Since I don't have a magic bedding machine, I guess I will just hang these as large scale prints over my bed. Now I need to hunt down a simple light gray comforter. My printer does have the ability to print on fabric. I just may have to look into that so I can have some small matching throw pillows.

If anyone one is interested in these two prints I'll put them in my etsy shop.

Fab design and would look super as bedding. There are companies out there that make it possible you to design and print your own fabric.

I just found your blog today and I adore it. I love your modern take on the 60's/70's! It's the way I want to decorate my home, soon.

Love and Turtledoves,
Jaco

I am resigned to the fact that there are simply no affordable nice gray comforters out there.

I'm on the hunt and the only one I can find that I like is at DWR and like $265.

He has some other good options online as well. The quality is impressive for the price. I've bought several of his things and haven't been disappointed.

Sorry the link didn't work. You may be able to pick it up in your local Target. If they don't have this particular item you could get a feel for the quality by groping some of his other textiles. I have to touch something before I purchase.

If a comforter is too much for you, a duvet cover is easy. It's just like a giant pillowcase. All straight stitching, no crazy hems or complicated piecing or quilting.

Upload your design to Spoonflower, get your fabric printed, then just stitch the panels together for the front, and use a flat sheet for the back. Stich the front and back together on 3 sides, leaving the finished edge of the sheet at the open side. Use some cotton twill fabric tape/ribbon for simple and modern ties at the open end.

Stuff with your favorite comforter and you're done!

Gorgeous design, BTW. Your style reminds me of Charlie Harper, whom I LOVE.
