An island without oil

I saw this months ago on PBS and thought I'd share it with you all.

Danish island of Samso won a national contest in 1998 with an audacious bid to switch completely to renewable energy. And in just ten years, Samso achieved its goal. Residents now use wind, sun and even grapeseed oil to power their cars and homes.

Very inspiring!

Fantastic! Loved it! I have to say - I would love to live on that island.

The impossible to the possible. Who says it can't be done. I wish we can be more like them.

Thanks for sharing...
