haha...Now that's a problem that doesn't spring to mind automatically when you live in North Central Texas. I never worry about getting nostalgic about seeing what my house looks like after it's been under 3 feet of snow for a while. Yikes! (I was confused at first, because I was pretty sure that looked like photos of your house I had seen recently.)
we have a large yard and i'm trying to convince my husband that i want to plant more trees & shrubs. he isn't going for it...but i want it to look like this (in like 20 years by the time the trees grow, haha)!

Yeah thats the great thing about the property is that it has some amazing old growth bushes. Feels like a secret garden.
I still buy bushes, but I get them at the end of the season when things are on clearance.
