Office hardware: edge pulls

It took me forever to find out what these things were called - edge pulls. I ordered a few samples and I decided on hardware that screws in from the bottom of the cabinet. You can order the pulls in one long 6' piece and cut them out yourself. I think we may end up doing that since it's cheaper. These are going to give some character to the cabinets.

Edge pulls are a great way to create a clean and uncluttered look. Just be careful with the installation when drilling into the edge of the door. The drilled holes and subsequent use can cause the door to splinter over time. I still think you should use them but just wanted you to be aware of the potential risks!

yeah, i know I had the same feeling that they could be a problem over time. I still may change my mind.

The cabinets are made of plywood, not Ikea quality stuff, so it may be ok.

Hi There - I have been looking everywhere for these in that cut-to-size configuration you mentioned. I can't find them, can you tell me where you found the 6' cut to size version? Thanks...
