Working on some new pieces for an upcoming project and I couldn't use color just lines and wow did I have the hardest time. I could not get it going, my brain was so angry at me! Even as a kid I didn't do much line drawings, I was painting landscapes or cutting up construction paper. My brain hates plain old lines!
In the end deadlines approach and you get your act together and work, luckily it's gotten much easier. What helped bit was adding in a black and white woven texture, it made my brain a much happier. Later on I will probably add color and texture to these and it will be epic!
